graman 2 Posted October 3, 2011 Well...It's been a while..... While I'm in between glue drying, I thought I'd dust off this one..made the blanks up a while back, but didn't use it. Now...a new style cometh forth, inspired by Jdoe. Jdoe sent me a couple of these, with some timber requesting some custom jobs. One of my suppliers now has them, first only in gold, but now in Rhodium too. Here's the first in gold, with Rhodium highlights, featuring Papua New Guinean Rosewood. Big...like a telephone pole, but fun to make. CA finish, as per usual, with an iridium nib and piston filler. $150usd + $14usd shipping by normal airmail, plus pp fees. More to come over the next few weeks into the shop...This is a wee trial for one of the new lines featuring.

graman 2 Posted October 4, 2011 thanks for the senitments guys! Lovely bit of timber, with an awesome grain. Just a bit of an experiment. I can, at this stage, interchange this for a ballpoint too. Although the next gold Cambridge must then be a fountain

wat44 0 Posted October 6, 2011 I'll see wat my rotring is - 0.5mm is WAY too thin, I like a nice thick one - dont use that as a quote

jdoe 0 Posted October 6, 2011 (edited) Really?? Sounds interesting! Am I looking at new toolong to set up? I can always rely on you for a challenge jdoe! Done! Now don't go shitting your pants when it arrives. Or maybe I should have put that differently: When you get a parcel that makes the bowels go, then you know it has arrived. BTW: there is an all gold version of the 2mm pencil mechs, however out of stock. Same stock ref #, just ending in 1 (for your future reference) Edited October 7, 2011 by jdoe
