mondeov6 0 Posted October 3, 2011 This day turned out to be a nice day with two new watches in the mail. Both from two really great guys "doing business" with! These watches are not everybody's "cup of tea" since they are both RG (rose gold)! Personally I am an old fart who happens to like RG very much. Elegant, stylish and beautiful. First one is a Chopard Gran Turismo XL from Narikaa. 21j Movement with functional Power Reserve. Case size is 44mm. For £68GBP I'd say this is a really nice and great looking watch! The strap is quite decent for a rep strap, but I will probably replace it since it is a bit to short. This is my first Chopard and I don't know why I waited so long to buy one. I really like it! Pictures... Next one is an unworn TAG Grand Carerra Calibre 17 quartz (no moving second hand to tell though) that I bought from Del. Case size is 44mm. Subdial @3 has 24 hour function. Subdial @9 is for the chrono minutes. When I saw this one in the "member to member"-sales section, I just had to buy it! In my eyes this one is a very stylish and beautiful watch. I just love the combo with RG and the brown dial! This one also has a decent rep strap that I will keep for now. It is a bit stiff but with some use and "ageing" I think it will actually look quite nice. Pictures.... (they do not do the watch justice really) Thank's for looking!
