houndoggie 58 Posted August 5, 2009 GEN: ($700+) Little Hero: ($250+) DSN: ($70-$90 with hands) Standard Rep (from PWC $99 entire watch): Superlumed Rep (from Sead $360 entire watch):
Member X 91 Posted August 5, 2009 Great post :P You can actually see the differences between them there but in the wild anyone but the most anal WIS would struggle to tell the difference from the front, surely?!
houndoggie 58 Posted August 5, 2009 That LH is sure close, isn't it?
AustinTech 0 Posted August 5, 2009 I can't tell the difference between the LH and the gen. Certainly nothing worth the extra $450 or whatever. Sometimes dials have textural differences, I wonder if the LH dial gets the texture right, or even if there is a textural type thing on the 111 dial. I know the UPO and gen PO are different. P_Diddy 0 Posted August 5, 2009 The only difference I can see is the placement of 'L Swiss Made L' what other difference is there aside from the lume, the shape of the numbers looks accurate?
greg_r 85 Posted August 5, 2009 The only difference I can see is the placement of 'L Swiss Made L' what other difference is there aside from the lume, the shape of the numbers looks accurate? There are a number of differences - including shape of numerals (the numeral 2 is the most obvious), typography and placement changes... You do have to look pretty close for most of 'em though. houndoggie 58 Posted August 5, 2009 For the LH.... (which is clearly the best rep dial, period) the LSML should be still smaller and slightly closer to the 6. The 2 and the 6 could be a little better. But the differences are minimal.
P_Diddy 0 Posted August 5, 2009 the placement and size of LSML is pretty straightforward amendment for rep dial makers? why has that not been fixed? For the LH.... (which is clearly the best rep dial, period) the LSML should be still smaller and slightly closer to the 6. The 2 and the 6 could be a little better. But the differences are minimal. wombosi 0 Posted November 18, 2010 (edited) Wow! Just stumbled upon this. Great watch! EDIT: Wrong topic. My bad. Don't know what happened. Edited November 18, 2010 by wombosi
wombosi 0 Posted November 22, 2010 HD, is there any chance you could fix those first two photos in the OP? I'm really curious what the difference is between those dails. Thanks in advance!

wombosi 0 Posted November 22, 2010 (edited) fixed Thanks! Appreciate it! It's remarkable to see that even the LH dail still has some (very) little flaws. You would expect that is should be possible to make an exact 1:1 copy of a gen dail with the technology and machinery available nowadays? Silverspeed 10 Posted November 22, 2010 Looks like Vaccum repped the LH dial.......... Apparently Vaccum now offers a 111 dial which looks very much like the LH dial "People buy LH dial then send it to me for relume...."

Apparently Vaccum now offers a 111 dial which looks very much like the LH dial "People buy LH dial then send it to me for relume...." *image* Any idea what he charges for this 'relumed' LH dial? $125 but without the hands and it looks too bold in my opinion some are asking to had the hands and make a price for the package. Wich makes sense because you get a dial and then the lume for the hands it will be completly different...
NFleischer 4,355 Posted December 3, 2010 I wish they would get the cg's better, even LH isn't that close. They're all too thin.
