Rodico, the wonder "stuff"

Recommended Posts

Drhulee

Alright we've all heard how indispensable Rodico is when working on your watch. What I'd like to know is just how many things (the more inventive the better) do members us it for. Pleas let us know. Here are the most common ones that I've come across, to get things started:

  • Cleaning hands
  • Moving hands into place
  • Acting as a replacement for dial feet (not sure whether this was a good idea)
  • Moving screws into place
  • Removing smudges
  • Removing excess oil
  • Chewing on to pass the time
  • .....

Also, what is the best procedure to remove smudges and marks from movements with Rodico?

If you smoke it, it will give you a heady buzz.

Houndoggie uses it to fill cavities and hold in crowns.

I use it when I don't have time to shower

Isn't that powdered Rodico that you are peppering your bread with in your avatar :D

I have a mental image of a huge pile of black grimy Rodico in AT's bathroom next to a sparkly clean unused shower.

give a small piece to your wife when she starts bitching, watch how it throws her whole thought process off

Its even got hair in it, HD. Short ones, longer ones...

Yes, Doc. Delicious Rodico. An R&P sandwich. A little dry and chewy, but it hits the spot.

I do that, but with shiny things. "ohhhhh, look at the shiny piece of metal, ohhhhh"

Like a raccoon.

Let me just hijack the thread :D and ask if anyone knows of a link to directions on using this, substance soon to be classified as contraband, to clean hands, dials and/or movement parts?

Thx

This thread is far more inventive than the one on RWI - they're kinda boring over there :D

Personally I save all my rodico and put it into a room of its own. A relative went in there a few days ago and we haven't seen them since - we just heard a faint 'burp' about 12 hours later...

If you stick some curly wires in Rodico and hook it too a battery and timer, you can blow up the bridge over River Kwai.

Not sure...but it's so cheap to buy, https://shop.homage-watches-guide.com/index...p;productId=159, why use anything else?

@Dru...it's also good for removing amorous platypus stains too...(see the last plane thread)

I bought some Rodico from the RWG Shop because Col. said I couldn't be without it. After 3 months I PM'd sconey and asked him what it's supposed to do. After his explanation I decided to fashion it into an Easter bunny. Then it just disappeared.

There is now a bluish tinge in the cat's litter box...cat-litterbox.gif
