honeybear 0 Posted October 6, 2011 I just received my Glashutte Original Senator Sixties in Gold from Robert (PWC), and wanted to share a wrist shot. It is approximately 42mm across, which is larger than the gen's 39mm, but it's quite nice, with a beautiful sunburst dial. It feels quite substantial, at about 2.3 oz. The included replica strap in light brown wasn't that great, with the top layer delaminating at the edges, and the two layers (which sandwich and keep the first keeper stationary) came apart as well. I swapped the strap for another replica strap which I bought, which I think is an improvement, since the gold goes better with a black strap.

Member X 91 Posted October 6, 2011 These are great value watches Don't worry about the flaws to gen and just enjoy a great looking watch and it brings much joy to wear! Straps on them are always crap though, I agree lol
gB. 0 Posted October 6, 2011 Try it on a lizard strap. Definitely dresses it up well. I got this one from another member (HD), but you can find them anywhere for fairly cheap.
Bosox 0 Posted October 9, 2011 How thick is it? Nice dress watch if it doesn't get caught under a sleeve.

Member X 91 Posted October 12, 2011 I think I did a review of it somewhere? Check the Glashutte section or the 'other watches' section
honeybear 0 Posted October 12, 2011 (edited) Here's a photo of the back and movement. Since taking this photo, I've removed some of the decals along the edge, since they went over the edge of some of the holes in the main plate, and looked a bit silly. Now, only the main Glashutte Original decal and the serial number (model number?) in the center are left. This is the after photo, where I removed some of the decals. May I ask what color combo is your watch? It's hard to tell from the picture if you have the white dial or off-white dial and if it's a gold case or stainless case. Member X 91 Posted October 14, 2011 That's Stainless Steel (SS) case with SS markers on a very light silver 'sunburst' pattern dial
