fletch1971 0 Posted October 6, 2011 I reckon it's a scam. The bracelet where it's attached to the case is not aligned as per the reps. Are there any other giveaways? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Rolex-116660-Se...#ht_7867wt_1347
Member X 91 Posted October 6, 2011 The end link is not in line with the lug, you mean? That's because the bracelets do move, AFAIK. Pearl, rehaut engraving alignment, 100% feedback and protective stickers point to gen to me.

Pearl, rehaut engraving alignment, 100% feedback and protective stickers point to gen to me. Yeah that's what I mean. I did notice the 100% feedback and they have sold some pretty high end watches. Do Rolex use screw in pins on their links?
Member X 91 Posted October 6, 2011 Don't forget that gen pics are usually made to look perfect so end links will be aligned etc etc, whereas this bloke is just buying and selling for profit so wants minimum effort lol All Rollies use screw in pins on their removable links, AFAIK. Either way, I wouldn't be spending $10k on ebay on somehing I've not seen!!

Although having said that I did sell a B & O stereo for $11,500 on ebay. I actually won the stereo and the bloke who bought it got a fantastic deal saving $3,500 on a brand new B & O system never used.

This is the only forum I participate in so i am not in the loop with all the lingo. Sean I will just come straight out and ask, what does GLWS stand for? Caliper 0 Posted October 6, 2011 If there is one thing I would never buy online is a gen Rolex.
gB. 0 Posted October 6, 2011 If there is one thing I would never buy online is a gen Rolex. +1! That price seems a little high too. A local non-AD jeweler here in Atlanta that sells new gen Rolex has this one for a little lower at $9,590. Capetown new gen Rolex DSSD
Cynikal.Mindset 1 Posted October 7, 2011 The end links on a DSSD look like that, they are oversized on purpose...that watch pictured is 100% real...look at the HEV position, pearl, etc etc.
