SOLD - Churchill Roller - Maple Burl (72)

Recommended Posts

graman

This is another big 'un, and a new model to boot!

Introducing, the Churchill.

This particular item is made with a Black Titanium kit, and Stabilised Maple Burl.

This means that the timber has been soaked in an acrylic resin to prevent anything from making the timber disintegrate. This also makes it very...very smooth......and it catches the light beautifully.

A lot of time goes into a burl..this one took me over 2 hours just to get it down to the right size.

So...Churchill Roller in Black titanium and Maple burl.

CA finish,

Ceramic rollerball - schmidt refill.

$120usd plus $14usd shipping by normal airmail.

$5aud if posting in Oz.

Does it come with an ink cartridge or should I preorder some so when it arrives I'm ready to write.

Comes with a piston filler fitted, and an ink cartridge if you don't have a pot of ink on hand.

A pot of ink will save you a fortune, and is not as messy as a cartridge :dingleberry-nemesis:

Even a $10 pot will be fine, just NEVER USE INDIA INK!

Maple burl, or Maple birdseye?

It comes out nicely, whichever it is!
