wombosi 0 Posted February 2, 2011 (edited) Tried this mod yesterday. Although it's not perfect, I'm quite happy with the result: Feel free to post your comments. I also applied a 'glue mod' for tightning the cg lever, which is a great improvement! Edited February 2, 2011 by wombosi
Aren 27 Posted February 2, 2011 Great tutorial HD. Stunning results. Frankly, I can't see me doing a mod to a watch... at least not in the near future. But if I were to try one, this one would be the one I would try. Of course, that would be after I got a drill press to go with my dremel set. The result looks great HD, but the most stunning of your photos is your son. He is completely adorable. Your mod and photos look great too DB, guess you did this mod yourself? Nice job Wombosi. You are brave and got a nice looking result. Thanks for sharing. I hope others will post their results.
MikeMcNair 0 Posted February 14, 2011 question: do all GC pins come "brushed" or "polished" and how do we know which model should have a polished or brushed pin? like, if i get a 111, a 127 fiddy, and a 233, which ones should have a polished CG pin, etc.? I believe the 111, 127 and 233 all have a brushed cg and polished pin. However, it could be that there is a difference between the various (J, H, G, etc) series. I'm not sure about that.
