rc42 0 Posted December 3, 2008 Breitling vs Rolex Whatever the reality however, the Rolex advertising machine is bigger and better than Breitling, the perception of the uneducated majority is that a Rolex watch is the symbol of wealth and success and no arguing by the educated minority will ever change that. Luthier 1 Posted December 3, 2008 LOL - good story, but I suspect Dave will disagree I suspect he's not american.

With all my respect to Breitling - I have a few and like it very much - you can't compare it to Rolex. 21j is greatest mov't, I have it on 3/4 of my reps and they works just perfectly. AllergyDoc 40 Posted December 5, 2008 Decided to wear the GMT-II C today: Sigh. Wish it was that sunny again. We've had 4 straight days of fog. High pressure system sits over the state and pushes the storms up into Washington and Oregon. We saw the sun for an hour yesterday. We usually don't get this kind of weather until Jan/Feb. Very dreary.

Sherlok Holmes connaisseurs will say "hum, RA pant size is 33 lenght 32 for the ass. Thats right. 1m80 tall and 80kg (150lb) 1970 - 6263 model- classic original dial, SS bezel, oyster bracelet. AllergyDoc 40 Posted December 6, 2008 I wore this old beater today: Purchased from Amatory.biz 2-3 years ago for $120. Solid mid-links. Fabulous-feeling movement (winds easily, good power reserve, accurate time keeper). Bad date font and mag.
RolexAddict 1 Posted December 6, 2008 Very nice watch AD, dont fix your mind on some flaws, your LV needs just a sapphire switch. Easy. If you collect, you need to buy at list 10 reps to finally, after tweak and mods 5 great time pieces. I speak for me, I have a lot of crap since 2 years, I jump, play and switch with cases, movements, dial, to get a acceptable collection. My collection is not growing, just more accurate. It is a great watch, but I didn´t like the grey colour on the bezelnumbers, if they would have been more white I would have keept it
