gtwc 1 Posted October 14, 2011 Esteemed gentlefolk, my problem is that my Pam177L is slightly buggered. It winds OK, keeps perfect time as a 'desk ornament / paperweight - with great lume - but it dies a death after a minute or two on the actual wrist. It also has a slightly 'tilted' crystal at the 9 'o 'clock position. should I turn to Wiz and get him to rectify faults and service my A6497 or should I buy the Noobfactory (slightly higher beat) and better dial model? If the NoobF is the option of choice - then which of the TD's offers it?
Member X 91 Posted October 14, 2011 Can you see if the movement tabs are securely screwed in? I wondered if the hands might be touching something but it sounds like the balance wheel is out of true, maybe. A service must be half the price or less compared to a whole new watch so I'd be tempted to do that! The H Factory versions are still nice! I am still undecided about the Noob stuff vs the H Factory - I want a 112 but does the Noob correct-to-gen-construction outweigh the less accurate but awesome lume H version?? I can't decide... :paddy_beer: :paddy_beer:
