What is the difference between 21j Autoamtic and Japan OS?

Sorry if this has been asked here before but I can't search for anything right now - my laptop is damaged and I can barely get it to view and post

I'm debating whether to go for this one

or that one

Hence my question

First one has a quartz movement, reliable and accurat in timekeeping, but no sweeping second hand.

Second has a cheap automatic/mechanical movement with sweeping second hand.

First one will be quartz - ie battery movement, second is mechanical. Chrono will work as per gen on the first. It will not work on the second!

Thanks

Which of the two is considered superior on here? (taking into account that the second one has a feature that doesn't work)

It depends on what you are looking for. If you want a mechanical watch that doesn't rely on a battery and may or may not require professional adjustment, then get the 21j or better mechanical watch. This watch will also look closer to genuine based on the movement of the second hand - or it's sweep. If you want something that all the bells and whistles work; requires little to no maintenance; but has the trade off of the "telltale ticking second hand" that gives your watch away as a rep, then go with the quartz.

So what?! If you just like the looks, go for the quartz. If you want the looks, and you want it to function like the gen, then go for the mechanical movement.
