Ridiculously good value watches?

Recommended Posts

Member X

I was just sitting here thinking that there's a number of watches that I've seen recently that are a) very nice, b ) pretty accurate in most cases if they're a rep, and c) pretty low price.

Is this just a mistaken n00b view?

I was thinking about the following:

I know the Silix one was a special offer but the rest are all available and tempting me! (And I have two of them now, a Parnis and the 1939! ;))

What does everyone else think??

I think I need a better paid job... lol :)

No website. He lists things for sale on RG and RWI, but just PM him what you want.

The Franck Muller Crazy Hours Jumbo and Vegas have been tempting me. The Vegas is a bit on the small side but working mechanical complications for under $100!

PWC 111h for $99 is the most impressive bang for buck watch I've ever recieved...can't speak personally about the Milgauss but reports on that have been stellar also...guess it's down to your preference...descisions, descisions...We all feel your pain, 'cos we've all been there... :)

Another really good value is the PWC $199 PAM 243... If he can dig them up (or even sell them at that price anymore). With minor modification (bezel dot polish, CG mod, and a $15 DSN datewheel) , it looks fantastic. I've had several PM's about mine asking if it was gen.

I didn't think I wanted that may reps, if any more than I have ordered/got now, but the more I look around the more I realise I could spend an easy $1k on numerous good value ones... lol :)

Also fantastic value are the PAM270 and 233 for $149. Then there's the Tag Carrera RS8 in various dial/strap combinations for around $130.

All also from Robert.

Yes, I agree - there's a LOT of really good cheapies around at the moment - much better than even a year ago imho.
