I don't think the 40mm Pams (especially Pam49) are available as reps anymore (someone please correct me if I'm wrong) so does anyone know where I could find a homage pam49? greg_r 81 Posted August 18, 2009 Hi and welcome to RWG! I haven't seen any 40mm homage PAMs around (in fact, I recently suggested such a watch to our of our resident dealers, Getat). There are, however, a few 40mm PAM reps appearing again after a long-ish gap where they weren't available. Josh is listing both the 049 and the 051 (which is basically an 049 on a bracelet) along with a few other models - whether he has stock available, though, I don't know for sure. http://www.jpc8118.com/panerai-luminor-mar...mm-c-35_41.html It would also be worth your while dropping prestigewatchco (who is a member here) an email or PM to see if he can get this model. Need anything, just ask. Our resident homage expert is spending "quality time" ATM but he may pop in long enough to tell you where to look. If you want a rep of it I'd ask PWC as greg mentioned. AustinTech 0 Posted August 18, 2009 I agree with greg - after a long(ish) absence, the 40mm PAMs are slowing coming back on the scene. I remember about a year ago, one of my small friends was looking for an 051 and the only dealer he could find that had one wanted $450 for it. It was his first rep so he passed (smart move). NFleischer 4,355 Posted August 19, 2009 (edited) the 40mm PAM's are very nice. they get a bad rep (jejeje) as a 'girlie' watch however. i have a gen 050 which i have fallen in love with again. it wears quite big. i've had it for many years and recently put the SS bracelet back on. i also have a regatta chrono which is a pretty nice rep. i see the dealers are starting to stock these again. That's a good one Currently my whole collection is either on it's way here from GZ or somewhere between Oz and the US (a grand total of 2 watches). Oh yeah, and one gen Omega I just bought but is not in my possession at the moment! If you're curious, I'm waiting on a 36mm SS DJ with smooth bezel, oyster bracelet, pink mop dial and diamond markers from Hont (ETA clone) and a Daytona (21J) from Stan. The Omega electric blue SMP midsize is getting the bracelet re-sized. I can try to take some pics when they arrive but unfortunately I only have the camera on my phone. Yep, saw that w/sale pricing thing that TD4 has going on now. Also recall something about not being meant for noobs like me. But that is a huge saving on the noob mariner that I was kind of considering too. The only thing is I wanted to get something other than Rolex as I'm still wondering how the hell I am going to pull it off, hence the PAM, being unknown and all. There is also the black on the sub - don't know why but I think black is too harsh on a watch for a girl. If only the gen came in blue SS as I saw a nice loking fantasy blue one on House of Souvenirs. Just heard back from PWC: no stock of PAM049.
