I've been looking for a 318L since they came out, I ended up buying a 005K, but found the 318 while the 005 was in the mail. So, I ended up selling the 005 as soon as I got and my 318 arrived today.

I was out of camera for a little over a month (my 10 years old Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T33 died) so I got a new one (I was happy with the old Sony so I got a Cyber-Shot DSC-W550) and was finally able to take pic of my new watches.

First is the well known H-factory Pam 177M with platinium plated movement. I wanted the same serial Number as my gen, but I was told that some number never came out as they didn't pass through QC or broke during manufacturing, Toro looked for me for almost 3 months, before we decided to get a random number:

Then is the very controversed Porche Design P'6780, that I bought from Unregisterd:

Very nice piece of metal that gives time, but totally unwearable unless you have a 10 inches wrist or wear it on top of a wet suit, but I like it:

Fascinating.

That Porsche diver looks very nice (I think it's based on the Eterna Kon-Tiki).

Great collection !!!

May I ask, where did you get this phantastic 8-watch Panerai-box from?

From another French member Yannou, bought it from him 2 years ago, but I don't know for how long he had it....and from whom he got it.

Same question was ask to me earlier via pm at W-C.

Bought it a few years back from another member who didn't remember from who he got it, but he advertised in his sell thread that those have been out of production for a while, it's a cheap rep that I never wear but I like it and it goes with the other weird stuff that I have i.e. Tag Sixty-nine, FM crazy hours, VC american 1921...

Thank you for your fast answer - due to the fact that I chose the watches I wear very carefully, it would betotally sufficient for me.

Anyway, this is a wonderful piece for any panerai lover. If anybody knows where to get one of these boxes, please drop me a line :-)

Sad reason for an excellent posting.

Hope that some miracle will lead your watches to be recovered one day!!

This past weekend we held our 6th French's GTG in Lyon, so around 2 weeks ago I made a nice order not to come empty handed (I felt kind of naked since the robbery). Anyway, the 4 watches didn't arrived on time, so here they are:

Pam 351:

I had to replace the 359 that I wasn't wearing much because I found it to heavy. I like the Bettarini case when they're made of Ti for the lightweight, but the 1950 case are even more heavy, thus the need for Ti. The dial color on this model is astonishing! I didn't take no pic of the caseback as I have the model with the stupid error M1445/500. Might have to order a new caseback but on the other hand, once you check the back of the watch the movement is a bigger tell, so I do not know...

DSC04954.jpg

DSC04931.jpg

DSC04927.jpg

Omega Speedmaster:

This watch has been growing on me slowly over the past 2 years and since my Datograph with Lemania was stolen, it was an excellent reason to give it a go.

DSC04956.jpg

DSC04926.jpg

DSC04959.jpg

Mont Blanc Nicolas Rieussec:

It's a cheap model, with a 21j, but it feel nice on the wrist, and the AR is great (I wasn't able to take a good pic of it).

DSC04912.jpg

DSC04942.jpg

DSC04940.jpg

IWC Portuguese 'Rattrapante':

Again a cheap quartz version, not exactly the one I wanted as I didn't wanted a 'Rattrapante' in 46mm but rather the Chronograph version in 42mm with the blue hand at the 12 o'clock subdial. But it's a nice watch and again a great buy for the price. I'm already in contact with my dealer to get the correct version and I'm not afraid this one will find a new home soon.

DSC04924.jpg

I have to add another watch to the latest addition as a good friend of mine who was at the GTG gave me a very sweet present.

Patek Philippe Aquanaut:

I also was lurking for this watch for a while and would have been in my next purchase, it's a cheap version with a 21j, but that's the only one available with that dial, the brownish is really sweet, again this watch would be a great buy for anyone.

Pas mal du tout!

Hope you lock them up at night. Way too visible for unwanted nocturnal intruders and other malcreants.

What did you say your address was, btw?
