Why does my automatic watch stop moving?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Anyone know why my automatic watch stop after a few hours whenever i wear it. Doesn't it need movement to keep it going?

But when i left it on the table for a few days, it is still moving.

Do you have a strong pulse? Or are you barely beating? Dunno...Some things are unexplainable nowadays.. :(

I had the same problem with a brand new automatic. Here's what M McNair said:

sounds like the Echereon (balance assembly) is not set properly, or is a faulty part.

Your call.

If it's brand new, it would be best to let the TD fix it rather than say you messed it up.

Otherwise, there's no harm in looking at it. And if you do harm it in the process, McNair can still fix it, maybe the easy way, maybe not.
