They all have tells but some less than others.

A 92-01 version with correct lug screws exists but you will have to ask the Trusted Dealer of your choice to see if it's available as I believe it was being discontinued.

The others listed above are good though but either expensive or out of production.

Next to the 03-88. the 02-92 is the most accurate rep.

RWI has quite a strong B&R fan base, it's worth checking the B&R section over there :)

The BR03 Aviation is the best to date. Uses the same movement as the Gen all it really needs is a relume but it's expensive $600

I think Mary will be able to supply one for you, probably with 4813 movement and around $150, I think @grimmi has one.

Timeshops has them too, but I personally would go with Mary :)

I don't know much about this one, I much prefer the cleaner look of the 03-92 :)

Timeshops has them, so Mary or any other dealer would probably be able to get it:

No probs, it's how I roll... :)

Make sure to post some pics when it arrives, there is a lack of B&R fans on this forum, the few of us B&R fans need all the pics we can get

that timeshops one is automatic. The one pictured is Quartz - as is the gen. There was a "Super Rep" of the quartz version with the exact same ETA quartz movement as the gen in it. Therefore it operated in exactly the same way and from the reviews I saw at the time was almost indistiguishable from the gen. They came with box, paperwork and tools as per the gen too. Trouble was I seem to remember the price was in the $600 - $700 range. The ETA movements were not numerous, so I don't think they are still available from the TDs - may be wrong though and Mary would know.

There are lower quality reps of the 03-88 around with quartz movements and LCD displays, but they use generic movements and don't operate the same as the gen, so not quite as desirable IMO.

p.s. I secretly love B&Rs - don't tell anyone :)

p.p.s - I think the pictured one is the cheapo quartz version.

PPS I am a secret B and R fan too. Picked this up from Pihllipe and love it, clean lines I think. I've even joined br-avo.com (blush).

Big thanks again to Pihllippe.

Just don't even refer to reps on there in even a subtle manner - they are militant anti-rep people!
