The Top 10 Signs of Watch Addiction

Recommended Posts

HP4M

Far from addiction I think, but last two days I'd dreamed with terms like "ETA", "Valjoux", "7750", "Asia", "Panerai", "Tag", "Carrera", "Monaco", "PVD", and "seconds@3", arriving here and at RWI too, LOL.

Any way, the list is funny as hell.

Glad to be here.

Some addicts wear a watch in the morning, keep a couple of watches in the glove box of their car (because the motion of the car keeps them wound), and wear an afternoon watch as well. The day is not done of course, until changing into pajamas, ready for bed, with a fully lumed Rolex (blue- so you will always know the time if you wake in the night). A watch on order, monitoring where that is up to, searching the forum to find the next watch. Ordering a 'must have' of a brand you hadn't heard of 3 months before....

You know who you are......

And I was thinking it was just me.

Number 8 is bang on, I sit there with them and my wife knows how to push my buttons by saying "Is that you playing with your watches". :P

All of this is so true it is disturbing....

Another symptom - when you pretend that you are surfing porn instead of admitting you are looking at watches.

How the hell did you manage to get 1200 posts in 4 months?? That's about 10 posts per day, 7days a week.

I think you deserve the title of master postwhore! :D

4 - You find yourself coordinating your clothes with your watch. Or is it the other way around? (Actually, this is probably a sign of good taste.)

Wow...I'm always sure to choose my PVD Panerai with any black apparel, my Breitling AS with my colored apparel, my Rollie President with the more dressy apparel, my Rollie SD for the casual apparel, my Anniversary Rollie with....

Do we see anything wrong here?

Nope.

Wow- I'm abit better than I thought. I posted back in 12/08 that I had 52 watches. So in the last

22 months I only bought about 20 more. I did give some away, but I guess 1/month ain't so bad, heh Doc?

Perfectly natural for a man of distinction.

Do your watches have their own room in your house? :)

Remember Clive's cabinets filled with PAMs?

Precisely. Those watches are for women.
