dylan 838 Posted December 16, 2011 The design of the AP ROOs are fantastic. Many are wary because of the movement and its an expensive rep. I've had some that had been serviced and some unserviced. Either way I've never had an issue (knock on wood). So if you're on the fence find one from another member and give it a go. They are fantastic! I think the Safari is one that is in need of a HKTan hornback! The Silver themes is one of the most versatile in terms of straps. It looks fantastic on black croc, rubber, and steel. The Black themes is a classic and understated. My Diver has been Vaclumed & double AR (some pics show my older one that wasn't Vac treated). The Montauk can be tricky because of the color scheme. I'm down to only 3 now. My Diver, the Safari, and the MH -- A black dial, a light dial, and a funky dial
jeffw69 0 Posted December 16, 2011 Awesome. I've got the diver on a bracelet, definitely wanting to get a rubber strap. My next AP might be the Las Vegas edition, I like the colors:

Del 4,532 Posted December 16, 2011 Nice AP collection! I absolutely love my modded Diver. I'm very tempted to get another AP but am a little reluctant to buy a secs @ 12.
dylan 838 Posted December 16, 2011 Safari strap is well worn HKTan medium brown hornback I almost feel like its a must on the Safari due to the very understated dial. The cream dial on the safari gives it a 'vintage-y' feel and I really love the broken in hornback on it.

I haven't heard of any issues with the new generation of AP ROOs that have the added jewel in the movement. I was fortunate enough to buy most of mine 2nd hand and serviced by Francisco when he was taking on work. However, even on the unserviced ones the power reserve has been great. Maybe I've just been lucky so far
