I have this left over from an abandoned project. I was going to integrate this into a Cali-project, but I've lost the love for the 249. The leather appears to be an oiled, calf leather with some vintage cracking on the underside. Nothing deep, just enough to make it look old and time-worn. The strap and buckle combo is really nice on this! The lug screws are now fixed as is the strap. Just pop in a movement, dial, and front glass and you've got yourself quite a looker! :cheesy: Here are some measurements... I don't really care about the case, it is an extra. Maybe I will put a solid plain caseback on it and a regular 6497 and make it into a cheap vintage....
