sempra 0 Posted September 15, 2009 I have a nice Citizen Pepsi Automatic, with rubber band. I hate the rubber band and want to replace it with with a stainless bracelet. The nomenclature on the case back is: 4-S043107 HST 700325 GN-4-S Is there a "correct" bracelet for this watch? And if not, what would be a good substitute? The watch takes a 20mm band. Tnx in advance, Mitch
trailboss99 994 Posted September 15, 2009 Yes, there will indeed be a correct bracelet but I have NFI what. How old is the watch? I may be able to find out for you. Col.
sempra 0 Posted September 15, 2009 I don't know how old it is, I have not been able to find how to date a Citizen. The paperwork that came with the watch says it is a caliber 8200, 8210, 66**, or 69**. The only other number on the paperwork is CTZ=P6911. The paperwork indicates that the type should be on the case back in the form: Model No.8200 will show as 8200-XXXXXX on the caseback Of course, the only info on the case back is: 4-S043107 HST 700325 GN-4-S Tnx Mitch Yes, there will indeed be a correct bracelet but I have NFI what. trailboss99 994 Posted September 16, 2009 Hey mate here's the story: Citizen Australia records indicate- Calibre no 8200 ( in fact 8200A10) Case 4-S043107 There were 3 models NY2300-09 (, NY2300 (G), and NY2300 (L). Which were all fitted with a synthetic rubber band P/N 59-L7174 It came in 3 colours White( Black (G) and Blue(L), fitted as corresponds to that model! Now this could be either Australian market or alternatively Oceania, but I suspect this one is a world release. So it was never fitted with a bracelet, according to them. Some more numbers (maybe some inside the case back- may reveal more info) There will also be some dial numbers which may reveal more. This is a computer programme I’m dealing with and it certainly works on “Rubbish In†“Rubbish Out!†If he wants a gen Citizen bracelet, he will need to identify a number which will fit it. ( Starts with 59-) This is stamped on the bracelet. So it never came with a Braclet. My sugestion would be go to a Citizen AD and ask what wil fit, find one you like (there will be a few) and get the number of it. I can then get one for you wholesale. Col. sempra 0 Posted September 24, 2009 Thanks!!! Col. I am on vacation in the North Carolina USA mountains, no Citizen AD around. When I get back to civilization I will take it to an AD and see what bracelets fit. Many thanks! offshore 0 Posted September 26, 2009 The day wheel indicates it probably was a Japan release model! So Japan would likely be the only ones with model info...the way Citizen work! But it is just a matter of selecting any Citizen bracelet that would fit it, if you want the Citizen engraved clasp.
