Did you get the Pvd done on this 005 aftermarket or did you purchase it from a dealer this way CB?

I made it myself using a v1 360 DLC case set and 005k dial, hands, movement and cb.

The strap was made by "GoldenPath" out of an old baseball mit I had.

He has another strap for sale on RG that he made out of the same mit

Very Nice :thumbsup2: I did wonder how come it was Pvd, thought you may have had Avitt do it or something, but now i know, I'm thinking a 360 may be my next purchase. Very nice strap also, but CB I'm from England we don't do Baseball here, we call it Rounders and it is only played at school! lol :)

Wearing my "big girl" watch!

Big girl and purple watches!, you do have strange taste Kolchak ;)

I was quoting Amuthon who called the Montaik a good watch for "big girls" but I'm definitely guilty as charged on the purple watch.front (and loving it).

Lovely watch, but that strap is the pits ...it looks as tho' it's been stitched with darning wool :(

The strap is actually great quality leather but I agree the stitching looks like dental floss. Thinking about changing to dark brown stitch & tone it down a couple notches.

In the meantime, here is something a little more traditional...

@GBOGH- Congrats on 2 Gen TT's!! you're becoming the king of those.

Very nice Tudor- show the other one day. I bet you got a nice deal down there.

Here's the other TT Tudor, a nice classic DD model. I just had it sized today finally at my local Rolex AD so am wearing it now. And yes, I got a steal on the price, hence picking up two. Everyone is all gaga for Rolex at the duty free shops in the Caribbean and hardly look at the great Tudor models. The Rolex AD's there were discounting Tudor models 50% or more in some shops just to get them to move. I happily obliged. :D These two TT Tudors are also solid 18k gold and 904L SS, just like all the other Rolex models, and the price I got for them was cheaper than any two-tone Tag, Omega, or other high end brand I came across in two-tone version, plus those others were either plated gold or capped gold and not solid 18k. Actually, it would make you sick If you knew how little I spent on these two beauties.

I hate you... lol

I don't even like gold or TT usually but these are nice!!

For Tuesday, the watch I didn't plan on wearing at all -- a Noob Sub from TS ($48 or $68 -- I forget). It called my name as I was finishing dressing, so on the ole wrist it went. Best BANG for the buck@ 'nuff said! dave: (sorry for some fuzzies in some pics.)

(Still a PITA to try to post pics here. Not a fan of the new format.)

looks more like 005..then 111...

the dial doesn't look sandwich in those pics.

I'll take your word, tito, as I have NO CLUE as to the model. To me, most Pams look alike, and the numbering of them doesn't make much sense, either. Yet, they ARE a beautiful watch that just grows on you. Thanks for the feedback.
