I looked at the dealer prices and thought these guys were crazy paying $200, $300, for a rep when I could easily find the "same" one for $79. Ahem....right. I wasted $600 on crap that I would be ashamed to wear now. Then from this and other boards I learned why there is a TD section and why they are more expensive. These guys know what they are talking about. Go with the TD's. They understand the needs of the rep community(more-or-less) and can get the best quality versions. Before doing that I would say watch the trade sections and buy some used watches from other members. That is a better way to learn. Some tips: Any website that says "this is a great watch" but gives no details on the movement type is a scam. They are selling junk and that is why they list the movement as "Movement: Asian" or don't mention it at all. Look at the TD websites, they give real details about the watch, whether it is a 1:1 copy, the movement type, whether the buttons/dials all work etc. Any site that does not do that is a rip-off. You may get what you ordered but it will not be worth wearing. The same is true of buying in flea markets. The people in flea markets have no clue how an Omega perl should look and would not pay $300 to a vendor but the vendors know the average person would splurge and pay $100 for a watch they got from their cousin in HK for $40. Don't deal with these people, go with the TD's, but first try member to member sales and just read the boards and learn from others. Anybody know of them? Satvc 0 Posted January 8, 2012 I did buy one from replicahaus last month before finding this forum. Took a chance really as I was looking for Xmas pressies. I bought a rep franc muller jubilee. It's was ok, only it was black and red in the pics and black and pink when it arrived three weeks later. Now I've found the trusted I won't take the risks again!!!
