houndoggie 58 Posted September 17, 2009 Don't know if it is a homage to anything, but probable just takes some cues from some pocket watch dials. Though it is Cartier-esque with the enlarged Roman numerals. Same case as the "Taco" 43mm, 21mm lugs, Handwind "pocketwatch" style movement. Unlike the Taco, this Tao came without any nitpicks. The dial is dust free and the second hand is appropriately sized and lumed. Lume is pretty good, no lume shot yet. The strap is usable. Arbitrary score is a solid B. KBH 7 Posted September 17, 2009 What luck. Two watches in a row that are #1 out of 50. Dial kind of looks like a Santos variant. I think I like it better than the pilot watch. I guess the lume would only be on the hands on this one, though. Strange place to put a dot. Have you checked to see if it's paint or a sticker, yet?
