AllergyDoc 40 Posted September 19, 2009 Wow! You've got some serious $ there, and some fine watches. That 225 is one of my favorite, on my "short list." I had the black one but foolishly sold it. You do it up right, though, HD: excellent straps.

houndoggie 58 Posted September 19, 2009 Daresay I am done with pams??? I don't know. HighFlyingClive had 50-60 PAMS. :ninja: Lunacy!!! Robert has hinted at they have effectively replicated the PAM 307 Depth Gauge Submerisible, but it may cost close to $1000. He also said that it has an auto movement, but has a battery to work the Depth guage.. hmmm. That may the only intriguing one.

Luthier 1 Posted September 26, 2009 Just curious - why spend crazy bucks on second hand watches, if some dealers sells for less and brand new? Nice collection, anyway.
mad dawg 0 Posted September 27, 2009 Great collection. I like the PVD fiddy, based on you post I will get one. I have a minifiddy from jackson. The winder is very small, making it difficult to wind. So you find this too? MD
greg_r 81 Posted September 27, 2009 Nice collection you got there - I'll admit there are several amongst those you've sold that I would have hung on to Anyhow, I'll play along. My Collection (in order of purchase): PAM111h for $290 from Ruby on BOB strap (or sometimes on a bracelet) PAM 127 for $99 from PWC (for sale) on rep strap PAM113 for $99 from PWC (currently on a bracelet but I don't have a decent photo of the combo atm - this is the rep strap) PAM233 for $149 from PWC on rep strap (which is excellent) Homage "Kampfschwimmer" 47mm Radiomir from Getat on Getat strap - can't remember what I paid (bought via eBay), but it was well under $100 Fantasy 45mm PVD Radiomir from Getat on Panor vintage strap - bought at the same time as the 47mm for about the same price. PAM 183g from PWC for $200 on rep strap (strap to be replaced when I can find one I like). PAM 127 'Ultimate' from PWC for $299 on OfficialTime Shark strap. All bar the cheapie Fiddy are keepers. On my list for the near future would be 288, 203, an Arktos plus a DSN 6514. There's also a handful of Getat homages that are currently screaming 'buy me!' Whether I will stop there, I dunno

houndoggie 58 Posted April 15, 2010 Have you distressed the case on this one...? http://i249.photobucket.com/albums/gg214/m...43/IMG_4260.jpg No... I did refinish the bezel (polished and flattened the pips), refinished the crown guard, and had a DSN datewheel installed. I sold that one awhile ago, but it was a beaut.
