trailboss99 994 Posted January 11, 2012 Bag quality is so hit and miss. I got a 2009 collection Damier tote from WatchEden that is incredibly good. About 230 bucks IIRC and the leather is first rate, perfect stitching, real gold plate on metal bits and the weight of it empty tells you it's good gear. There is nothing about it that does not say quality product that's worth every last cent IMO. I also got the afore mention 55 "canvas" keepall that thankfully I did not pay for (it was going to be a raffle prize) because it's still in it's box. I wouldn't be seen dead with it so there was no way I was going to use it as a prize. Both were supposedly "best quality AAA" grade but the piece of plastic masquerading as a keepall is utter crap. My rule now is don't buy "canvas" it's all junk. Having said that, WE have a good range and it's most likely the same stuff KB sells and it's far cheaper. Trevor also has a large range of bags. The other dealer a lot of folk look to use is http://www.thehandbagfan.com who have a good reputation and a huge range. Interesting to note that neither WE nor THF stock that keepall. Wonder why? I did expect better of KB however, how is he so sure it's leather when he's never seen it? He has a good rep at TCLKC so I would have thought he'd be better on his CS than this. In my opinion, this is really shitty customer service: Jeff in your own words tell me why you believe the bag is not leather.There is no point in me going back to the factory and saying the customer believes he is an expert on these products because they make these bags by the hundreds and I sell very many of them and have done so for 5 years. There is no point in more pic's as the pic's you have shown me look like the bag that was sent, they look like the QC pic I sent you and the look like the genuine LV Epi leather bag, because that is the finish a genuine LV Epi leather bag has. The bag is $320 because it is full leather, the genuine is over 2.2K, second grade PU keepall 55's still sell on iOffer for over $150, I would love to see what a $30 keepall looks like because even if I decided to see rubbish I wouldn't be able to get them at that price.
