aphillipe 0 Posted January 13, 2012 Greetings from Portland Oregon - the city of rain, rain, and Trailblazers :help3: ! Name is Adam, 30 years old in medical sales - I've been a watch nut since my first boss out of college got me hooked. Have owned a few nice gens..... mainly Rolex & Tag's... Found a VERY cheap supplier of reps back in my college days -about $20 a watch and that's about the quality they were - $20. Got a handful for fun but one by one they fell apart and/or stopped functioning. Recently started finding too many watches I wanted to own and realized there IS some VERY good quality reps out there if I search hard enough. Glad I found this board as I feel even though this place will drain my wallet dry, I'm going to enjoy every minute of it! Any others from the Northwest on here? aphillipe 0 Posted January 13, 2012 Yea.... my short list of must-own's in the next 90 days are: new Tag Aquaracer 500M Chrono - BEAUTIFUL thick/heavy watch... Another GMT II-C as I sold my gen last winter and regret it every second. An AP Royal Oak Offshore (unsure on model although I've seen a few with carbon fiber that are beautiful) and a Tag Monaco V4 if one exists that's actually solid.. jeffw69 0 Posted January 13, 2012 Mmmmm that safari is gorgeous... I REALLY want one with carbon fiber accents -anyone know the model? I know of the carbon fibre, and in my opinion, it wasn't repped very well. Perhaps in the future we will see some improvements. Smurf 0 Posted January 15, 2012 (edited) Hi guys. New to the site and also from the west coast but lower down... Los Angeles! Just bought my first 3 replicas but from a non-preferred vendor as it turns out. Oh well, some lessons are learned the hard way. :( Edited January 15, 2012 by Smurf

BigBuys 0 Posted January 16, 2012 A warm welcome to aphillipe and +1 to jeffw69 on that Safari! You have certainly found the right place and although there are others, this is the right one! And to get off on the right foot, STOP LYING! If you call that rain in Portland then you need educating. All across the South we call that sprinkling. You want to see rain, then hang out in these gulf coastal states. Glad to hear your announcement but now I am going to have to do some searching to find out what the hell the four posts were prior to your announcement. Welcome aboard!
