saywhat 0 Posted February 1, 2012 I talked to Reg about it today and he said he has sold these for a while with no complaint: https://photos-3.dropbox.com/i/xl/ArA-xkv6hlMCPMPUe4XjFjpnQuashpyZYcJvUJ8RfFE/2644807/1328173200/1a4fcc3/ROLEX%2010704a.JPG So maybe two-tone is worth the buy after all? Can anyone confirm whether these or any specific two tone ones hold up well enough to be a daily watch and not look terrible and look clearly fake?
greg_r 81 Posted February 1, 2012 If you wear a gold-plated watch daily, the plating WILL eventually start to wear and look tatty. How soon depends on a lot of factors, but it is GOING to happen with any plated watch - rep or gen. Might take 6 months. Might take a year or two. The bracelet will be the area that goes first. The watches Narikaa sells are great - but the same principle applies wherever you buy from. If you want a daily beater to last, as has been said before, go for stainless steel.
