cooi1977 0 Posted September 28, 2009 Hi guys Hope someone can assist with my query. I recently purchased a replica Omega Planet Ocean while holidaying in Malaysia. I need to resize/take out a few links so that the watch will fit my wrist nicely. Question is I am not sure how to do this and woud greatly appreciate it if someone can provide some assistance. Thanks. Regards
greg_r 81 Posted September 28, 2009 Hi - welcome to RWG! I'm not an Omega expert, but I think the PO bracelet uses pins rather than screws (somebody correct me if I'm wrong!). Take a look here: http://www.mywatchmaker.net/epages/sizingbracelets.htm Hopefully that should solve the problem - if you need the pin pusher, you can generally find them fairly inexpensively on eBay. pollux1 3 Posted September 28, 2009 The easiest way is to take the watch to a friendly local watch repairer, NOT an authorized dealer. The pins in the Planet ocean are notorious for being hard to work on.

I noticed you have a few IWC rep watches on your list. I am finding it hard to locate a quality IWC replica... even in a place like Malaysia. Thanks again for your input. Hey, I was nice, just think he doesn't realize I am still a member here since he said, "no real watch forum would have JohnG as a member." I can't post at RWI but I can read there.... (a disadvantage I don't have here).
