gB. 0 Posted February 15, 2012 I've been following this small micro brand from Poland on WUS after picking up one of their previous models. Here's their new diver design project created for the Polish CW forum which they plan to launch this year in limited edition. I like the design and jagged bezel teeth. Something different for sure. It's planned to be powered by the reliable Seagull 2551 like their previous projects, so price will be reasonable. So now is formal. Here is official variant od 2012 Polish CW forum watch, that was designed by its members, and will be made by G. Gerlach. As the orderings has just opened, we still have no idea of limitation number, expecting 50-70 range. It is based on a modified G. Gerlach diver model, with all major parts re-projected. That includes different bezel, dial, hands, engravings, strap, buckle and box. Only the movement and the case main body stays same as in our serial project. Sea Gull ST2551 inside, WR200 water ressistance. Credit for the project goes to Maxio, and for a 3D visualisation - to Erolek. Great job guys, we will do our best to let it look even better live A strap is projected right now, however it will be a designed natural rubber. jeffw69 0 Posted February 15, 2012 Q: Why do Polish newborns get two smacks on their bums instead of one? A: The first so it’ll start breathing, the second so it’ll let go the midwife’s watch
jeffw69 0 Posted February 15, 2012 Two guys are walking in the forest. One says to the other, "Hey, I think we just crossed the Polish border." The other guy says "How can you tell?" "My watch is gone."

Jeff, please do not turn this thread into Polish joke non-sense. This thread is about a newer micro brand coming out of Poland with some interesting designs at very reasonable prices. If you feel the need to vomit non-sense Polish jokes that don't make sense, please start a separate thread doing so, m-kay? .

gB. 0 Posted August 14, 2012 Here is the prototype of this project assembled on their new branded SS bracelet. The bezel will end up being painted and lumed like the mock up pics in the OP. Can't wait to get mine and see what it looks like on the wrist. http://gerlach.org.p.../?p=390&lang=en The FOKA is a limited edition run of ~100 pieces aready allocated, but they are doing a similar styled regular offering called OTAGO that will be available in two dial color options, orange and graphite. http://gerlach.org.p.../?p=412&lang=en This micro brand out of Poland is doing some great models at very reasonable prices, better prices than most reps. scorpion 0 Posted August 15, 2012 Nice, its getting hard to find new styles but these are certainly unique and look very tough and industrial. Not sure about FOKA as a name but it would be good a talking point - "what makes is your watch" - "foka" - "ok no need to swear at me" :lmao:
