Rav747 0 Posted February 22, 2012 Avenger(45mm)- male 19 and above and women above 30( No idea why). Chopard pr- women totally dig that watch. Pam(183)- women have complemented on the simplicity, but more so the strap color. Omega po- males only, so far. Gen Navi was drooled over at the work place(all males)
KeNnY 29 Posted February 22, 2012 my Omega Moonie, everyone tells me that is the nicest watch in my collection. But when I had PARNIS an u-BOAT homage, that gathered attention NONSTOP... so I think, bigger watch, bigger attention
JDCKent 0 Posted February 22, 2012 Yup! The only watch I've ever gotten any attention and compliments on is my FM Aeternitas rep. And, always from women...ALWAYS! It gets annoying after so many times of having to explain what a tourbillon is...because I find myself never knowing how to properly explain it, and usually in the end pretty much feel like a complete moron. Then again come to think of it, I did once get a compliment on my Invicta...

Chiquita Fanjita 1,805 Posted February 22, 2012 Both my DSSD and PAM111 have been commented on by a few people, but the one that got the most love at the Glasgow GTG seemed to be my Cartier Santos 100 Chrono.
James. 4 Posted February 22, 2012 Gold breitling bently.... only suited up and for important stuff, intimidatory meetings, meet and greets etc. The wings fell off tho so its now outa play....breitlings always seem to get attention, my 2nd most commented on is my chronospace
greg_r 83 Posted February 22, 2012 The one of mine that gets admired the most tends to be my fantasy gold-plate PAM382 cheapie (go figure... ).

LHOOQ 0 Posted February 22, 2012 My out-of-the-box Panerai reps (esp. the 288K) get way more compliments than any of my prized vintage Rolex frankens. But this one puts all the girlies on standby, waiting just to say "Hi!": Did I stop?

I'll let you figure this one out but for chrissake, don't go technical. :P

new2watches 0 Posted February 22, 2012 Big difference between noticed and complimented. I have a $10 watch that really gets noticed most simply because it's garishly ugly. The compliments are shared equally between a Rolex and a Pam. The non-watch-enthusiasts compliment the rollie (probably because they recognize it for what it is), and those who recognize compliment the pam. No one compliments the wearer though... thunder92 0 Posted February 22, 2012 Pam 111 or my tat homage I sold. Weird because the my dssd is so much more noticable. I think people notice the unique band combo's better becaues there are a lot of stainless watch bands.
