I also paid more than $1000 for this (I think it came from Ideal or Best Swiss, not sure) It really held up well because I don't wear it often. I got ripped off for sure, but they really don't make that many TT reps this good. The TT BK/WM9 will probably cost about the same as this I bet. It keeps perfect time (I would bet its a real ETA) after 5 years. The gold wrap is really nice- said to be 14kt, but actually tested about 12. The gold bezel is also a beauty, MOP dial and REAL DIAMONDS!! JEJEJE PS- Good to hear from you Doc. PPS- I'll never forget the all night marathon thread we had here back before the crash in 2008 with James from Best Swiss. It could be the funniest thread in rep history IMO.
