Ladies Omega Aqua Terra

Well, as mentioned previously in a couple of posts, I've been waiting for the other half's Omega Aqua Terra birthday present to arrive from Mary and I'm pleased to say that it turned up this weekend

Posted 23rd September via Airmail, arrived 10th October, so not too bad!

I did already have one from Mary, sent via EMS, but there was a dial flaw so she had to send another one. There was no argument though, straight away she said she would resolve it as soon as she could, and she sent me regular updates about when she was going to the market, when she was planning to post it, and when it was in the post. Overall A1 service and I will be using her again!

Anyway, on to the pictures...

The missus picked this out on Josh's site but I didn't want to pay his prices or risk dodgy service. I sent Mary a link to it and she went out and found it, then sent pics of it for me to inspect. She did pick one up but another inspection later revealed that it had a case scratch, so she went back for another one!

It arrived via EMS super-quickly and amazingly well packaged, as you can see:

These are pics from the first, flawed watch but the second one was packed just as well B) Great to see some care taken rather than just slinging it in a bubblewrap envelope!

The first watch was perfect apart from this small issue:

I'm glad to say that the replacement is perfect though!

Speedmaster caseback is wrong but it's not like it's ever going to be seen!

How big is it? I figured everyone knows how big a 44mm PAM is so chose this one to compare it to! lol

No dear, it's a picture of the watch, honest... ;)

Sorry for all the pics lol

Overall I'm very happy with it, and so is the missus :D

Bracelet is a little sharp on the edges and needs some lubing (no surprise), there's the spelling issue on the clasp, the dial markers are maybe half a degree out from the print, and I'm not entirely sure whether the bevelled crystal is accurate to gen or not, but it's a good solid weight, great finish to the watch head and dial, smooth 21j movement, looks good, and all for a great price and service from Mary :) Overall I recommend Mary and this watch!

What's up with the Speedmaster caseback?"

Shouldn't it say Seamaster?

Otherwise great watch overall and nice pics!

Yeah, should be Seamaster lol

Not too fussed about it as it's not on obvious display and the other half doesn't really hang around with anyone who would notice or care!

Nice alternative to the usual Rolex DateJust for the lady.

I've only owned one B&R rep, a 21J 46mm model from Tonyxkf. The caseback said quartz. <_< My wife told me the watch was ugly, so I sold it.
