Rav747 0 Posted March 5, 2012 BK's Sub Special... Ok, so... I'm the last person to do this, or pick apart a watch(esp owning some cheapies), but I just couldn't resist. I thought bks have the best sub, and with that in mind, what's up with the pearl(off to the right) and the dw(font off to the left.) Maybe its the angle? Mods, if I'm out of line with the comment, feel free to delete it

Mods, if I'm out of line with the comment, feel free to delete it Well, he did state it was "Special"... As a relative newbie, I honestly didn't notice the off-center pearl. And I still don't notice it staring straight on. The angle of the pic I took really makes it look off-center doesn't it? Also, what is wrong with the date wheel font? I purchased from BK over a year ago. Didn't do much research aside from knowing that BK offers among the best, if not the best sub reps.
Rav747 0 Posted March 5, 2012 Honestly, if you didn't say it was BK(heck! he is known for his subs, after all), i wouldn't have commented. If you dont notice it staring it straight on, then its def the angle of the pic and prob the same goes for the dw
onionbag 1 Posted March 5, 2012 I'm wearing this, as I forgot to put on my BR 02-94 before I left work. Seiko 5 daily beater. by Carlos Ouispa, on Flickr

Without a watch box, I had to angle to avoid glare from lights.
Rav747 0 Posted March 5, 2012 YUP! looks as good as BK subs should. It was def the angle

sequoia 0 Posted March 5, 2012 Good morning from Florida. Good morning from Florida. Sad day. On my way back from the gym wearing my gen Super Avenger I heard a clanking sound coming from the watch. I opened the case back to find the counter weight thingy that winds the watch was separated into two pieces. It appears for this Breitling it is glued together and they came apart. The watch is at my local jeweler to see if he can fix it without sending to Breitling. :-(

NFleischer 4,355 Posted March 5, 2012 Sorry Luth- you're right. I was refering to some of the newer PAM PR with 7750 mov't and faux PR. Also, some of the IWC BP have the fakes.
