Where to buy Breitling Montbrillant Datora?

Recommended Posts

crampy

I had a gorgeous Breitling Montbrillant Datora (black face) with a stainless steel band that I had purchased from Silix. It worked perfectly for nearly a year before dying a week ago. Silix generously offered to repair the watch and have it sent back to me. But rather than taking that route and being "watchless" for a month, I'm thinking of just purchasing the same one again.

It appears though that everyone is sold out. One dealer actually claims that the factory is no longer making them. Does anyone know what's going on, or better yet where I can purchase my beloved watch from?

Thank you!

Try Mary, somebody bought Datora from her recently.

Thanks, I sent her an email. My only concern is that in

this review the outer dial's fonts didn't match the genuine.

Perhaps she can request the manufacturer to adjust that, let's see.

If there's any other recommendations in the meantime please let me know!

You really think "manufacturer" will make special dial for you?

It's a REPLICA, mate, get what you can, while you can.

Honestly, I have a detora from Mary over a year ago for my dad and its flawless. Only the ar is blah(such is the case with all navi type Breit), but other than that all numbers match up as they should. Superb watch Imo.

No, but there's no shame in asking. :) Worst case scenario I'll just keep looking for someone that has the outer dial's font correct.

I got this one from Robert (RIP) - it was a one-off. Works perfectly. Love it!

then what are you going to do about the spacing between the numbers and the outer bezel. and then there is the font of the subdial. :giggle:

The rest are all very subtle differences. :)

Thanks, I've sent him a message. If anyone has any other suggestions - please let me know.

By the sounds of it everyone uses the same manufacturer, who has stopped producing it.

Yes, it is a shame to ask super stupid question.
