SecretAgentMan 0 Posted April 22, 2012 (edited) I use to own a gen GMT 2 C & have owned a $200 rep from a non-trusted dealer that fell apart (probably cost them $20 to make) & you could have clearly seen the difference in feel & looks obviously. From what ive seen, some trusted dealers have gotten close to looks wise on the rep GMT but the movement has been having problems because of the GMT hand. I like the comparison you've done with great detail........its good to know we have people like you on this site that can donate time in putting together a quality write-up of our hobby............it helps out a lot of people. Luthier 1 Posted April 22, 2012 Cheese, how could you compare hands, if the hour hands on the both pictures covered by seconds hands? By the way, hours hand on Sub is just slightly thinner, than minute hand, almost invisible difference, far from gen. Cyclop is absolutely identical on both - no wonder, because the crystals come from the same factory. That's why laser crowns are identical. Crown guards are almost correct on Sub, and horrible on Sub-C. Pearls are wrong on both. Of course, we can't expect anything correct on $70 watches, so...
