Cannot believe it. 1st watch ordered and it is not working. Cannot wind the watch as it seems like the crown cannot move the 1st cog.

Took loads of pictures of my 1st purchase.

Contacted the dealer and waiting for a reply.

That's a bummer, sorry to hear that.

If it makes you feel any better, my first rep was also DOA, hands were reattached so they were just floating inside the watch.

This happens, during the transport, don't let it get you down. Contact the dealer and get a replacement. It will take a while to get there and back, but eventually it should be solved.

Cheers guys,

I know the dealer will do right.

As you all know the 1st wait is the hardest and cannot believe I will have to wait again.

Just put the clear protective case back on the PAM and the strap label. Put it in the draw and saw how good the superlume is!! Glowing like there is Kryptonite in there!!!!!

Sorry to hear that.

I had a DOA once, I was upset, but eventually the dealer made it right and sent me a new watch.

Damn - what a bummer. It's happened to all of us but it's not that common, really. I'm sure your dealer will sort it out for you.

This happened with my first rep too, bought it off Narikaa but he made sure it was all sorted out in lightning fast time!

Open the back and have a look you never know what you might find. Might be an easy fix.

Please advise, which is the easiest way to get the back off. Do you think my dealer will replace it if he reads this post and i have tampered with it?

The crown wheel is very wobbly, must have been damaged in transportation.

My first and the only rep was also DOA, but dozens of "gentle" bitchslaps put balance wheel on it's right place :)

Did you opened caseback?

Pitted oedema is nasty.

So are DOA watches.

Bad luck.

Suggest (as others have) that you contact dealer ASAP before attemting a 'self-fix' and thus

invalidating terms of the possible non-existent warranty !!!!

Let us know what transpires..................

Try to open the crownguard and wind it that way. I received a few watches for repair perfectly working from first time buyers.

I've always been able to wind my PAM with the crown guard down. Is this not right? Can it harm the watch?
