Novesh 0 Posted October 29, 2009 I searched most dealers sites, they all claim the case size is 40mm. nah, its 42mm across, counting the crown. If you don't count the crown then sure it'll be 40mm.

Demsey 9 Posted November 18, 2009 Brilliant. Excellent work. Many thumbs up and thank you's. If they ever get off the pot and put the new modified 7750 they are using in the new Planet Ocean Chrono here, supply plexi (Hesalite) crystal, and put as much attention to the solid caseback as they do the PO, we'll finally have arep worth buying and you'll have some updating to do 'Novesh'. Here's to hoping.......................... Thanks to 'X' for directing me over to see this thread. Thanks dooood. ps the cheapo 'Quartz' is a stunner in 'photographs', replete with all the goodies, but, well Quartz, but, well $

Here's to hoping.......................... Dems I live for the day we get a Moonie with a co-axial MVT in her. I love this watch but the subdials just spoil it for me. Considering I have two gen dials just waiting for a new home it's a hard wait! Col.

Demsey 9 Posted November 18, 2009 Considering I have two gen dials just waiting for a new home it's a hard wait! Nice! You may just be the first kid on the block to have the 'ultimate' Moon Watch Franken! You will be legendary. Hopefully the m7750 will address the correct position of all three subdial cannon pins to the gen vintage Omega SpdMP dial. Hopefully. Considering the POC is using the new mvmnt one would hope, but those early Speedys were engined by Omega cal 321 (Lemania 2310) and the POC by the in house cal 3313. Omega like Rolex throw 'curves' to mess up the rep trade. Anyhoo, yeah, I have not bought a replica since my POC. '06 I think. The 'more' correct Moon Watch will be my return to the 'fun'. Here's a link to the ultimate guide of Omega Space Watches. Funny, Buzz Aldrin never did wear his Speedy on the Moon that day in August 1969. The instrument chronometer in the LM broke and he left his piece behind for the crew to reference. That watch was stolen before it could get to the Smithsonian. Also, a Waltham was also worn on the Moon on a subsequent Apollo mission. So much for 'first' and 'only'.............. Some more ref pics from my archives to complement 'Novesh' 's. Not my piece, but perhaps someday...............behold, the legend:
