onzenuub 309 Posted October 30, 2009 Swiss watch brand Raymond Weil has taken its well-received Freelancer Date Chronograph timepiece in a decidedly upmarket direction with the new option of a case in 18-karat pink gold. In terms of design, the pink gold Freelancer Chronograph shares much with its steel brethren in the model range. These sublime but alluring elements include classical stalk-type chronograph pushers, sleekly angled strap lugs, polished and faceted hour markers, and a polished applique with a screw to frame the small seconds subdial. Case diameter also remains the same, at 42 millimeters. The Raymond Weil Freelancer Pink Gold Date Chronograph watch is animated by a 25-jewel Swiss ETA self-winding movement which has proven itself for both rugged dependability, and precision performance. Balance frequency of the smooth glucydur balance is 28,800 vibrations per hour, and power reserve of the barrel is approximately 46 hours. In addition to the chronograph function with central chronograph seconds, and totalizers for hours and minutes, the movement offers a display for both day of the week and date, both of which may be conveniently advanced via the winding crown. To invite viewing of the rapidly moving balance wheel, circular graining decoration, and other elements of visual interest in the movement, Raymond Weil has fitted this luxurious Freelancer Date Chronograph with a sapphire crystal exhibition back. The Raymond Weil Freelancer Pink Gold Date Chronograph is water resistant to 100 meters. The timepiece features a convex sapphire crystal, and a saddle-stitched strap in alligator leather. A deployant clasp with dual-push security elements keeps the timepiece securely fastened. specification Price range: 9250 Euro Movement: Automatic, 28,800 vph Complications: Date, day of the week, chronograph Power reserve: 42 hours Case material: Pink gold Case size: 42 mm Case height: N/A Dial: Black Water resistance: 100 meters Strap: Dark brown leather, RW folding clasp with double push-piece security, pink gold-colored PVD coating Crystal: Sapphire, double anti-reflective coating
