Recommended Posts

While on my quest for "who has the best sub", my friend Trailboss tells me to search for the TC submariner over at RWI and perhaps I will find this Grail rep.....

cheers! :beer2:

At long last. The definitive answer to "who has the best sub?"

Ding has the best sub. End of story. Enjoy :thumbsup2:

Nice watch Ding! I think the rehaut looks good! I've heard some of the gens don't even line up correctly.

Did the 16610 with rehaut engravings have AR under the cyclops? If it did are you going to get it done?

Also why didn't you get your buddy (the one with the sub) to go into an AD and pick you up an insert for 1/3price!

Thanks mate. I am not for sure a about the AR question, but I will eventually get a gen crystal.

The friend you speak of is Cobn's mate......

.......and this Rehaut thing, it is really hard to describe just how nice this one is. I have had 3 ceramic subs and none were even close to this......

What am I missing?

I found some pics of the Gen rehaut engraving on flickr - any chance of some comparison shots? :P

Not sure how well they've come out, stupid phone network compresses images so I can't tell how good they should be lol

I've always thought the TC rehaut engraving might be a bit deep / larger font size?? But it does look great as a watch on the wrist, great choice :)

Thanks X,

yes the font is a bit different and the space between letters is more on the gen, but compared to all the other rehauts out there it is far superior to the other reps.......and it looks super on this watch

:)

Very nice!

No, it's not a WM9 V2, it's more of a WM9 V4. ie: the case George would be using now if he were still selling.

I may need to consider an upgrade to this case for my V2 one day me thinks.

Oh yeah, great buy on the insert, it's damn near perfect!

Was surfing M2M sales on RWI and saw some guy selling gen. crystals for $260. Not sure if that is a good price or not, but it reminded me of this thread.

Very nice.

So the gen bezel is not ceramic? It looks so shiny.

I really like the watch, wonder if it would accept/fit a gen ceramic bezel.

I think that is not possible, the shape, the thick of the bezel wont be the same...

Does the V series 16610 with rehaut engraving suppose to have the green hologram sticker or not? If so, where can I get one?
