nice!

loks like you have converted a drawer... same as I have done.. great idea

haha yeah talked the missus into letting me comandeer one of the wardrobe drawers. At least they're not all over the place now, that was my reasoning anyway.

@Sam

I've stayed away from "vintage" bar those two models, which don't really count because nothing has been done to them since they were bought in their existing shape.

But, that's about to change if river still has a little something something in stock for me ;) AND about to embark on my 1st build; 4 liner in my 203 case.

Nice, semaj! Great to see the PAM183 and the IWCs in particular (two of my favorites).

I see you got the same French ammo bag from fleaBay that I did for strap-making? I've got two straps from it nearly done! :dingleberry-nemesis:

haha yes, I've taken it apart i prep to begin but been a bit too busy lately to cut and treat it. Time to read up some more I think and get onto it this weekend. How'd your straps turn out?

Just wanted to save something special for my 2000th post.

I'm a relative noob still, only been here about 9 months. Learning every day, trying to be a productive member as much as possible, though ususally resorting to posting smileys cause when the going gets tough, the tough post smileys, or so the saying goes. If worse comes to worse, popcorn.

My humble beginnings below from my 1st ever thread as an indrocutory post many moons ago

newimageoc.jpg

I'd like to think i've come a long way since then, gawd I'm actually a little embarrassed by some of what I used to wear. I'm now flush with 40 or so watches which without this place would never have been the case...

So I just wanted to say from the bottom of my heart....

FUCK YOU ALL YOU BASTARD EMABLERS! STOP POSTING SO MANY FUCKING SEXY WATCHES IN THE WRIST CHECK THREAD OR YOU'LL GET ME MURDERED BY THE MISSUS!

Yes it is, I picked it up a few months ago in m2m, great little watch. Doesn't really get the wrist time it deserves. I'd prefer top get it in M2M then from the getat site, he has a tendancy of taking ages...

I started this habit mid December. Here's what I have to show so far: from L to R, all Rollies, SS Explorer II from Trusty, Noob sub-c from BK, gen DD President, TT sub-c from MR, and YM from Silix.. All TD's did a nice job.

I've bought from every TD though I'm starting to use Toro more than most these days.

How does that Hublot 4000m wear? Almost pulled the trigger on it. But just not sure if its a little to over the top size wise. Not even the 48mm but 22mm high is HIGH!

Surprisingly well. Though it doesn't get much wrist time, i don't like rubber straps on watches.
