With time you start to appriciate the diffrences, the sandwich dial, golden instead of black hands, handwind movement or maybe the simplicity of the watch itself. Yes, I consider them being variation of a same watch. But that's the point: I love the Luminor pre-V case (not the all spreading Luminor 1950) and I consider myself fortunate that such a wide variations of it exists and in such great quality!
