sms 0 Posted April 30, 2012 Asia Copy ETA Valgranes A07.211 Working chronograph movement? There is a watch I just have to have. There are many replicas of the watch, the most expensive of which has this movement. The cost will be over $500 with shipping. I could get close to the same rep for just over 300 with a 7750 movment, or a similar cheapie under 100. Is there something really worth the additional cost for the movement, or should I expect a much better all around rep?

Member X 91 Posted May 1, 2012 Well, Toro is a Trusted Dealer so no worries there (I didn't know if you were on some dodgy site :P lol) but I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the movement or the benefits of it over other movements!
NFleischer 4,355 Posted May 1, 2012 I d buy the A 7750 and save the $200.

watchmonger 0 Posted May 1, 2012 Still the best and prettiest one AFAIAC,,,,,and still going strong after 4 years... I'm in love! What's the diameter of the case?
watchmonger 0 Posted May 1, 2012 44mm Ughh!! Methinks a little too large for my girly wrists. I'm just getting used to the Tag Calibre 16 (which is smaller) purchased from Rochest. Does it wear big, small, or true to size in your opinion?
sms 0 Posted May 1, 2012 Wow, who has that one? I searched on AFAIAC but didn't come up with anything. That looks great!

I got the one w/ the a 07.211, the reason people get it, is that is what is in the gen watch, so they clone the origanal 's movement for looks . It's basicly a bigger 7750 to fit in bigger cases, so basicly its for a more gen. apperance.
sms 0 Posted May 2, 2012 I bought the one above from Rochest this morning. I actually like the looks better than the one 200 more, but thanks for the explanation. Had Badrick not shown those pictures I would have probably sprung for the 500. I was ready to pull the trigger yesterday before posting the question. I figured the cost was justified coming form Toro, but hard to lay down for a rep.
