Automatic movement for Luminor

Recommended Posts

Hi people,

I recently acquired an auto luminor from Tat (yes, pic have been posted) and it comes with a seagull auto movement. I love the watch but the rotor is noisy as an angle grinder. Tat tells me that the factor supplies them like that. I tried a little silicon grease, that didn't work. SO.... can anyone please tell me an alternate source for auto movements to suit luminor?

Odd, a Sea-Gull (the correct puntuation BTW) should not be that bad. Is the rotor rubbing on anything, have a close look for rub marks.

Col,

I will have another look. To me, it sounds like it is rubbing on the inside on the case back.

In the mean time, do you know the swiss movement equivalent of the Sea-gull?
