K.D. Pathak 0 Posted May 29, 2012 Greetings Everyone: I am new to this RWG forum, and I am looking for a man's Rolex Date-Just 2 tone. There are many dealers with different prices in terms specs such as gold wrapped, Swiss ETA. Even though they say gold wrapped, but is it true or not? What do you guys suggest. Will the gold wrap will be a good choice or go for the SS. If someone has pictures please post so that I can see. I will appreciate if someone could give me a feedback on which particular Date-Just to go for from which dealer. Regards Pathak
Luthier 1 Posted May 29, 2012 Dealer's choice is yours, mate. Wrapped gold stay longer. I have 4 y/old wrapped Sub, still looks perfect. Read dealers feedbacks, and make your decision. Welcome to the Forum!!!
onionbag 1 Posted May 29, 2012 Hello and welcome. doing your homework is the key to this hobby. I've no experience with 'gold' plated/wrapped watches but many have, although I suspect you'll be advised to go down the SS route.

TxRub779 1 Posted June 1, 2012 Yoda say, "choose your dealer, not your watch" :yoda: The Trusted Dealers here have all passed muster with quality, service and reliability...but one mans dealer may not be YOUR dealer..so that it why we suggest reading the dealer feedback forums first. To ge an idea, based on other members experiance, location and other factors that may or may NOT fit your situation...Enjoy the reading, this hobby is addicting.
