IWC Big Pilot 5004 too!!!

The Big Pilot is definitely among my most favorite watches, but at $15k CAD retail, it's a tough sell on the wifey.

Thank goodness for the replica watch community :)

I opted to go with the functioning PR (yes, even though it's less accurate) but my OCD nature demands it to be functional.

The date window is quite small, hands are small, 12 o'clock marker is too small, and the PR subdial is the wrong color when you compare it to a real Big Pilot platinum... WHO CARES I still love the watch!.

There is a bit of an issue regarding the clasp, but I will leave that for me and the TD to discuss.

Hope you enjoyed the pics!.

I have one of the first 5004s, it's fantastic watch, eye catcher.

Hrm, it's not letting me post the rest of the pics, lets try here:

Date adjustment button:

It wears really big because it isn't cluttered like a chrono or with heavy bezels and what not.

One day, one day, maybe I'll have a real one. Until I do, this will work :)

With that date button @ 8:00, it probably has a Seagull ST25-30 PR movement inside.....And....That's a GOOD thing!!

Is there a tell tale marker on the inside that will identify is as a Seagull movement?

wheres it from?

Watch International.

Rochest sourced it out for me.
