tommylad 0 Posted May 30, 2012 Hi guys, I'll post a pic up later, as I don't have time now. Just received a white dial Breitling Chronomat Evolution with leather strap and deployant. The deployant is a steaming pile of shit as far as I can tell. It is difficult to work, hardly fit the rep strap and wasn't very secure (kept popping open). I put my new Meyerhoffer sharkskin strap on it and it won't close at all. Now, I may have fastened it wrong, but I don't think so. Either this is faulty or this is a dreadful piece of design. dalboy 2 Posted May 31, 2012 BENT, as a nine bob note.............Tom with a little bit of care you bend it back.. over the years i have had 10 or so Breits and never had a problem, as mentioned before i prefere them to most others. tommylad 0 Posted May 31, 2012 No luck. Everything on the clasp came bent. I gave it a little nudge so the button and hole lined up. But everything else is miles out, so it's an impossible job (for me). Looks like I'm going to have to wait a couple of weeks for a new clasp before I can wear this one.
