Dear friends,

some advice please.

my brother has bought from a flea market the attached choppard.

besides that it is quartz i have no idea what engine it wears. my concern is that the seconds dial is not reseting @12 and generally i think the functions are not good.

do i have any option to see for buying another rep engine for this watch and change it? by all other means this watch is beautiful

thank you

MV

Theoretically, sure. Chances are, you will probably need a new movement, dial, hands, movement holder, - everything except the case - if the case is interchangeable - and you will have to pay for someone to do the change out... If you want a "non quartz" version, you are better off to buy a new watch from a TD.

Just my opinion.

Mike

On quartz Movement you just need to pull the crown in Time adjusting mode and push the start/stop button to move the reset point of the seconds chrono hand by one sec ;)

Took me a while to figure that out though ;)

Sorry to bear bad news - but literally not worth doing anything to it. The TD version of this model is spot on - you should definitely check it out! Best of luck, mate...
