agisthos 0 Posted November 17, 2009 (edited) Hi Guys, As the title says, I have never worn a watch until recently. Always found them to be of no interest until coming across Ariel Adams ablogtoread.com His reviews have an enthusiasm that got me interested and now I am hooked. Expecially since there is such a range out there beyond the bland watch one usually gets for christmas. First purchase a Bvlgari Diagono check the pics in general forum. My last hobby was high end audio. Some of you may know where I am coming from, a ludicrous hobby with bad sounding amps/speakers costing 5 figures or more. Thank god for the replica world, collecting rep watches much better for the bank balance. Edited November 17, 2009 by agisthos
greg_r 83 Posted November 17, 2009 welcome to RWG - good to have you here! I used to work in high end audio, so I know where you're coming from :P I'm not sure that collecting watches is that much cheaper though - it gets kinda addictive
Member X 91 Posted November 17, 2009 Hello! Nice to see that you've caught the bug - I don't know how I could ever go back to only one watch now, it's great to have a choice each day, especially when they are so reasonably priced compared to the £££ label-advertising devices in the shops! trailboss99 996 Posted November 17, 2009 More audio freaks! The best piece of audio kit I owned was a Luxman LX-100. Lovley valve amp, some bugger pinched it on me. I proberly don't want to know what it would be worth now. Still got some halfway decent Bose speakers tho. Welcome to the madhouse mate! Col.
