Omega 2254.50.... Which one?

Recommended Posts

1. Seller is original owner, purchased from Forum AD on WUS. One year left on warranty. $1500 (a little above what the going rate is for used)

2. Seller is not original owner, no warranty $1275

I wouldn't care about the warranty and original owner. I would take the one in the better condition.

They both look well and without scracthes (what I can see from the pics anyway) So I would probably go with the cheapest one... but then again... I am a cheapskate :irish_dance:

I hate you for buying my grail watch btw!

How did you tag a watch you don't have yet?

Anyway, I would go with the first choice. Maybe offer him $1400.00. Are they located in the states?

I asked the seller to tag the photo for me.

The pic on the second one is so poor it's a little difficult to see what you're getting..

I'd be tempted to lowball the first one - offer him $1350 and see how he responds. :irish_dance:

I woulda gone for #2 as well. I don't put a whole lot of value on the warranty. These watches are tough as nails and not particularly complex or expensive to repair.

DO IT

the lume on those is sweet. I love the band also.

Done Deal!

Feel very comfortable about it.. the seller insist I call him before I send the money.. Nice guy. He won't sell a watch unless he can talk to you about it. You don't get that too often.

Indeed.

Very manageable. All, except the 3513.50 were purchased used (or in the case of the 366.0848, was my Dad's)

HD, with all these gens, you're not a relation of Jetmid are you??? :)

Great looking watch and IMO for what it's worth you made the right choice...:irish_dance:

Only question is, why no gen Pam yet? I tried a few on at an AD the other week and to be perfectly honest they seemed no better than their rep counterparts.

For the money they cost, I was a bit disappointed really...

In Hawaii, I tried on a few Panerai at the AD... the 233, the 088, and a Ferrari model... Was disappointed just like you. Would never buy a gen at the prices Panerai sell them. I'd rather stick to the homages from now on. (sold all the reps.)
