JohnBrown 0 Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) I just received my first purchase, the Patek Phillipe that I posted about a week ago. Thanks to this forum I had a very pleasant experience dealing with Michelle at Silix. The watch made it here in 8 days. I was surprised at how fast it made it. Unfortunately I tried to regulate it myself and moved the stud carrier by mistake so it's now on it's way out to Chris to be set up properly. High mark for Silix and Michelle. I just ordered an Omega Seamaster and an IWC from Michelle. This watch is beautiful. Again thanks to your guidance. Let me know what you think. The Best! mianos 0 Posted June 12, 2012 Fantastic looking watch from the front, but seriously, that rotor stick belongs in the hall of shame.

Amit 72 Posted June 12, 2012 Ignoring the back the dial and watch is very nice.
conx 0 Posted June 12, 2012 Love the dial - simple but classic. Sorry to hear about your troubles trying to regulate. I'm sure it will come back spot on
Luthier 1 Posted June 12, 2012 Stud carrier? What's that?
JohnBrown 0 Posted June 12, 2012 I THINK the stud carrier is the adjusting arm to the left of the smaller one with two dots that should have been the only one that I touched... I'm afraid that I really got it out of whack. I assume that the rotor stick is the self winding flywheel? I have to say that without magnification the works appear to be very nice when viewing through glass with the naked eye. Thanks! JB
Baldrick 1 Posted June 13, 2012 Stud carrier? What's that? It's not what you're thinking....and it wouldn't apply to you anyway
